Why a purified and bottled water company?

Although often perceived as ordinary, water remains the most vital and remarkable substance. Life as we know it could not have evolved without water and dies without it. Its demand will never cease; it is truly the embodiment of life!

Why we do what we do?

Optimal water intake is essential for your health and every cell in your body needs water to function properly. Through the purification process, many types of impurities such as bacteria, algae, fungi, parasites, metals like copper and lead as well as chemical pollutants are removed. With the rise of a health conscious population and the benefits of purified water consumption, the drive to start a purified water company was birthed. This decision was fueled by the identification of a gap of supply in the market. The magic would be in the naming of the product and its brand positioning. The idea is to deliver something fresh and new, something that would spark an interest, and something that the masses would identify with, something proudly South African. And so the name e-Vattie was born! A South African Street term from the Afrikaans word “water”. The “e” symbolizing the 4th Industrial revolution tech environment at hand, solidified by the addition “ie” to seal the deal. “e-Vattie” would be the name that would surprise the masses and also create a buzz, a curiosity that would set the brand apart and keep it alive!

Bheki is founder and MD of e-Vattie, responsible for Contract negotiations, Sales and Marketing, Account and Brand Management as well as After Sales Services. He has extensive experience in dealing with municipalities, Government and private companies as well as the new markets in South Africa (SA) and Southern African Development Community (SADC).

Luyanda is founder and MD of e-Vattie, where she contributed vastly to the inception and development of the e-Vattie concept and brand. Her passion for entrepreneurship and drive to empower her community has inspired her to see this vision to fruition. She is a strategists and customer relations expert. She thrives in imparting knowledge to others, particularly young women in business. Luyanda is also a Director and Board-Member of various organizations in the greater Gauteng Region.
